Jacques Gratton Photographer

BIO & MISSION

Trained as a biologist, Jacques Gratton always had a passionate interest in photography. Teacher at the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles and for University of Sherbrooke, he also has an extensive experience in portraiture, landscape, sports, show coverage and commercial work, including training, reporting and digital imaging.

His father, Guy-Armand, was also a professional photographer for some time in the fifties.

His father was also one of his very first subjects.

Climbing the Col of Bavella, near Porto-Vecchio (south of Corsica) with his son David : a 1 218m high mountain with a 50km tortuous road to get there - a cyclist's dream come true!

He is a proud member of the Canadian Association of Photographers and Illustrators
